What an Exciting Winter We've Had on the North Shore of Oahu!
This past winter has been one for the record books in Hawaii! All of the islands saw an entire winter of record setting big wave surf, with the 50 foot swell in January being the major headliner of season! The Triple Crown of Surfing contests in Haleiwa, Sunset Beach, Pipeline and at Waimea Bay were amazing, with huge, beautiful waves providing the best surfers in the world an opportunity to put on a show of their amazing talent against the backdrop of some of the most breathtaking Pacific Ocean big wave scenery ever seen. Nature, she really is beautiful.... and those big waves also brought in a fresh treasure of incredible Hawaiian Sunrise Shells! Thank you winter, thank your ocean, thank you beloved little scallop for the natural beauty of your Sunrise Shell, I strive to honor you with my seashell jewelry creations!
